By Bill G "W.S.G"
What can I say this is one beautiful watch.
It is solid, heavy and well made, as most off Invicta's watches are.

The whole watch just screams quality in every detail, Invicta watches always have lots of extra bits and pieces on them that just make them stand out from the ordinary watch, I often think that the rear of invicta watches are far more interesting than most other brands watch faces, and this one is particularly nice.

The rose gold on this watch is very nice, shiny and very resistant to scratching.
The watch can be worn as a dress watch or just a manly watch for all occasions, I had to remove 3 links from each side of the bracelet for it to fit my 7 1/2 inch wrist, and besides having one hard to budge pin it was a breeze to get the pins out using a compass point " one for drawing circles ;) " and a tiny hammer, the bracelet is very solid and feels like it will never break.

The lume is the same Invicta brand Trinite that they use on most of there watches, which lights up very brightly with the minimum of light exposure, but also fades very quickly, One problem I have found with most of my Invicta watches is that the hands light up very brightly but the number markers are always no where near as bright? Surely this luminous compound can not be very expensive, I can not understand why watch manufacturers are always light on with the lume ?.

I highly recommend this watch to anyone after a quality Swiss quarts timepiece. You wont be disappointed. " I also like the Silver Stainless Steel models with the coloured hands which makes them stand out more on the face ". models 6560,6559,6557,6556.

The only complaint I have " which is not with the watch ", is the Australian dollar was 99c in the American dollar when I purchased this watch and had been around that for weeks, but Amazon's exchange rate was way off that costing me at least another $30 more than what it should have at the time.

This watch is totally awesome. Its a heavy watch but is still comfortable. I personally think its the most beautiful watch out there. The bracelet looks like real gold and it is so shiny. The date and time was easy to set. I suggest taking it to a jeweler to have links removed if needed. I was always wanting a Sub III but I'm glad I bought this instead. You won't be disappointed with this beauty!!!!

Customer Reviews

This is one fantastic watch. I have been looking for a nicer and more sophisticated watch for about 6 months. After watching several "watch" shows on TV I was convinced that the Invicta brand was the way to go. After reading 100's of reviews and soliciting opinions from many retailers to jewelers I am convinced of the high quality of the product line. The quality that it exudes combined with the manly look I wanted to portray is uncompromising.

I selected this particular model because it was new to the line and it had the features I wanted in a watch. It is a fairly simple chronograph that is easy to operate if I so desire. After receiving the watch I had it set accurately in less than 3 minutes and this is after never owning such a sophisticated watch before. The face is on the busier side but not difficult to read. Even the chronograph dials are uncomplicated and can be read without straining.

This watch is not for the timid though. It is massive in size and weight. I was very surprised when I opened the box for the first time. It exudes not only quality with its articulate features but a sense of ruggedness because of its sheer size. I bought it for its beauty but if I were to wear it diving (which I do) it would serve this purpose well. I am a fairly stout person with much larger than normal hands, wrists and forearms so this watch "fits" me very well. In the week that I have worn this watch I have received no less than 4 very positive comments on how well this watch compliments my stature. The only two cautions I have to any would be purchasers are you don't allow your arm to swing wildly about as if you catch someone just right you will do some damage and be prepared to graciously accept many, many compliments.

I am not a watch collector but I would be very willing to purchase and own a couple more of the Invicta Subaqua Noma IV watches so I would have one for any occasion. I also had no problems purchasing this watch through Amazon and had it in my hands in just 2 business days. They also had the best price I could find beating other retailers from $75 to $750 dollars on the same model.

This is an impressive watch, both in size, looks, and functionality. My boyfriend is a big guy, and even he had to get used to the size. The band comes very large, we had to have several links removed by a jeweler, but he's very pleased with it overall. So far it's been reliable and easy to operate, but will update this review if some of the rumored Invicta quality concerns arise.
